About me

My name is Michele Sisell and I am a breast imaging specialist and independent consultant since 2018. I have had the opportunity to travel across the nation and been invited into many facilities to help with a variety of different breast imaging centers needs. I have been a certified Radiologic Technologist since 1998, a Mammographer since 2005, a Breast Sonographer since 2011. I have many years of experience working in large and small breast imaging departments. I have also worked with Hologic, GE, Siemens and Fuji 2D/DBT mammography machines along with great relationships with representatives from all the vendors.

I worked at a facility in my hometown for over 22 years where I was a mammographer and the lead breast sonographer for the Women’s Health Pavilion breast imaging department. In 2020 I started working at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN in the breast Imaging department where I currently work part-time. I have been a mammography clinical instructor for a local college and a breast sonography instructor. My passion for breast imaging led me to MTMI in 2018, where I became an independent breast imaging consultant for facilities all over the United States helping with ACR failures, continuing education and specialized training in mammography and ultrasound. I have developed educational webinars for the ASRT, MTMI, Medical Professionals, Fuji and the Mayo Clinic. Most recently I have accepted a role as the Lead for the Breast Imaging Department at Mayo Clinic. I also joined the ARRT as a volunteer where I preside on 2 boards. I am an Item Writer for the breast boards and on the Board of Trustees for Breast Sonography. I also was a reviewer for the most recent publication of Lange Q&A Mammography Examination that was recently published.

I have a passion for the breast imaging and breast cancer awareness industry. Helping others reach their goals and provide the excellent patient care we all strive to provide is my personal goal.
